Tourist and cultural heritage

Sabzevar city is the entrance gate to  khorasan razavi province .there are currently 496identified and 370registered historical relics and artifacts available in this city that constitute over 20%of the total historical relics and cultural heritages available in the entire province .Historical monuments and architectural works belonging to the pre-islamic period until the era of the contemporary pahlavi dynasty :there reside over 380cultural and historical monuments ,a number of which have been repaired and refurbished .these monumets are now open to local and foreign tourists who are fond of cultural and hisrorical heritages .rivand fire temple known as azar barin mehr is an example .there also exist beautifule and valuable inherited from the past generations .there are at least 112ancient hills which belong to the third millennium B.C.these hills contain invaluable items in case excavated and unearthed ,shall attract thousands of tourisrs to this city .sabzevar is host to the mausoleums of prominent literary ,religious ,cultural and scientific figures  such as hakim sabzevari ,abolfazl beihaghi ,abolhaghi ,vaez kashefi ,ata malek Jovaini,helali Joghtaei,professor mohammad taghi shariati ,martyred dr .ali shariati,and others.

So far , studies have been conducted in two villages with invaluable historical and cultural textures .the historical fabric of mazinan village has been registered as a national heritage ,serving as yet another cultural and historical tourist destination .

Sabzvar has also served as a cradle nurturing prominent artists and industrialist who have rendered great services for the promotion of traditiodnal arts and handicrafts in this region . the present day sabzevar boasts the artifacts produced by domestic artists who specialize in clay works , carpet weavhng , Giveh making ,inlaid work ,felt making ,turnery ,basket making ,etc, in small traditional workshops here ans there in the city .

Turkish and Kurdish ethnic communities live alongside other people in Jovain disteicts of town .these communities have remained loyal to their traditions,customs ,dialects and langufes .Allthese anthropological heritages and assets can be put to display in a museum unser the same title to absorb huge of interested visitors and tourists and attract rewarding investments ,thus heiping to the bloom of the local economy .

Natural attraction and features in the suburbs of the city such as aheshmad reviver ,delbar ,Ostaj and Nashib villages ,desert and Saharan natural features in mazinan ,and ultimately Tabas village are some untouched attractions rich in terms of tourist industry.

The novel entitled kalidar authored by the prominent writer mahmoud dolat abadi is based on the events and developments which have taken in sabzevar .kalidar is the name of a suburb of sabzevar and many people are interested to visit this place which is itself a rich potential for  attracting cultural tourists .

Sabzevar is also characterized by the old time sarbedaran uprising which took place by the people in bashtin and naman villages and was intended to restore justice there .a visit to the site of the uprising and the monuments and relics left from that period of the Iranian history can be very interesring
